While preparing for our Thanksgiving festivities, I have been holding in mind all that I am grateful for in this past year: husband, kids and daughter-in-law, friends, extended family, Bean Team, our new website, Owner's Guide, Quick Start, Worksheets, Bean Team retreat, all those I have met through Owner's Guide reviews, programmers, designers, healing, new awareness, expansion of my awareness... and the list goes on! What a beautiful year it has been!
At the same time I am also holding in mind the Release phase we are currently in at this time of year. The dynamics of the Release phase involves transitioning from last year to next year where the expansion of our awareness (new understanding/knowledge) gained from last year is refined and concentrated into a foundation for the expansion of our awareness for next year. This is a particularly introspective and withdrawn phase which we are emptying and bringing the potentials necessary for making space for the new seed of next year to be planted. We may feel the desire for the new year to begin and the potential of new experiences are being presented to us in many forms. The next year experiences are based on what we have learned last year and are the next steps that support our spiritual unfoldment and growth.
I am pondering: How does gratitude and reflecting on the past year and events assist in the release phase dynamics of emptying and making space for the new seed?
I intuitively feel gratitude is an important part of the process of the release phase. This is the first year I have contemplated both the release phase and gratitude (Thanksgiving Holiday) together. I would love hear what others are pondering during this most interesting time of transition from one year to the next. What are you grateful for? Also, what new experiences are being presented to you for the next year?
