Woke up this morning, felt funky and I couldn’t put my finger on what I was feeling. It wasn’t good or bad, just a little strange. Talked with Betty and she was feeling the same way. If all else fails when I am feeling funky, I always do yoga which seems to do two things for me: it grounds me so that my energy is flowing which makes my heart sing and it can also bring clarity to what I hold in mind. As I am holding the yoga poses, my mind is in the present moment and impressions come through. This afternoon, as I was doing yoga, I was shown an impression of how the weekly dynamics of the day, Saturday, is in direct alignment with the monthly dynamics of the current phase of the moon, first quarter moon. Both aspects of time, day and month, are positioned on the transitions which creates an interesting dynamic. On the larger level of the moon cycle, which is an emotional transition, we are moving from mind to heart which opens us up emotionally. On the smaller level of the week, which is on a more practical level of doing, we are moving from the heart to the mind, which opens us up mentally.
Both transitions are a crisis in a sense and have polar dynamics; organic and instinctual growth (quarter moon phase) and the conscious process of creative release (Saturday). Our heart is opening while our mind is consciously creatively releasing constructs. In other words, there’s a lot of polar activity going on within us today! Oh my!
These alignments are always happening, and we only become aware of the funky feelings when the dynamics are polar and more intense; pulling and pushing against each other. Maybe in the future, since I have brought this into my awareness, maybe I won’t need to do yoga to get the answer… I’ll just check what is in alignment. : )
